Hot process is intense to make, but the lye is cooked through, so the soap can be used straight away. No waiting six to eight weeks for it to cure.

The sample

Built from soap. By someone who isn't a designer.

The sample portfolio is mine: packaging from the soap business I ran in Auvers-sur-Oise. I was the client, the designer, the chemist and the person who cleaned up. The labels are what they are. You'll do way better.

So don't judge the labels. Judge the chat. Ask it things a static portfolio can't answer.

The price climbs. On purpose.

Ten spots. Every sale adds €15 to the next one. There's no deadline: it closes when the tenth spot sells. Buying early is the only discount there is.

The monthly part

Rented, not owned.

Your portfolio lives on my hosting. The Rent pays for that, the chat, and me fixing things when they break. Stop paying, and it goes offline. No surprises in the small print: it's all here.

  • €12 / monthStarts the day your portfolio goes live. You save your card at the end of the Intake. Stripe will show "60 days free" and a date: that's the latest possible first charge. The real one is the day you go live, never before.
  • IncludedHosting, your address, and up to 300 chat messages a month. If the chat gets that popular, it rests until next month and shows your contact link instead.
  • CancelAny time. It runs to the end of the month you've paid for.
  • Failed paymentStripe retries and emails you. After 10 days without payment, the portfolio goes offline.
  • Your contentOnce it's offline, you have 30 days to ask for your content back. Coming back after that costs €25.

What happens after you buy

    After checkout you land straight on the next step.

  2. Intake

    Links to your work (site, Behance, Instagram, PDFs), questions about how you think, and saving your card for the Rent. About 45 minutes.

  3. I build it

    In order of purchase, two at a time. You get your queue date before your 7 days start.

  4. You check it

    One round of changes. Wrong word, wrong project order, a question the chat should answer better.

  5. It goes live

    At yourname.talking-portfolio.com. The first Rent charge happens that day.

Your purchase confirmation contains a personal referral link. For every person who buys a spot through it and finishes Intake, one month of your Rent is free.

Before you buy

Who is this for?

Designers, illustrators, photographers, freelancers: anyone whose work is better than the way their current portfolio explains it. If people keep asking you "but how did you get there?", this is for you.

Is it an AI pretending to be me?

It speaks in the first person, from your answers, and visitors see that it's an AI chat. It only states what you gave it. When a question isn't covered, it says so instead of guessing, and points to your contact link.

What do you need from me?

Links to work you already have, and honest answers to a set of questions about how you work. I do the extracting and the writing-up. If the material is thin, you get fewer case studies, not invented ones.

Can I write in French?

This first round is in English. You can still fill in your Intake in French: your case studies appear as you wrote them, and the chat answers each visitor in the language they ask in. The buttons on the page stay in English.

What if I change my mind?

As a consumer in the EU, you have 14 days to withdraw. If you ask me to start before those 14 days are over, the terms explain what that changes.
